Ask to Receive

Matthew 7:7: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

Simply put, if you don’t ask, the answer is always NO.
If you ask, a number of those NOs will become YES.

No one is a mind reader; we individually cannot read someone else’s mind.

So, if you require something of someone, and you do not ask that person, s/he will never know exactly what it is that you desire/need.

The only person who truly knows what is going on in your life is yourself, no one else. The reality is that other people are so busy with their own life, they have no time to bother with another person’s life; each of us has our own life to lead.

Yes, there are people who make it a business to know what is happening in other people’s lifes. Singaporeans call this type of people kaypohs, or busybodies. But they are few, and if you have met them, are annoying.

So remember: Whatever that does or does not happen in your life is a result of your asking or NOT asking for it, not because someone else did not offer it to you.
